For all makes and models, in many cases the existing pickups can be used. There are several modules to choose from depending on your application. Programmable ignition curves, rev limiter, sidestand blocking input, tachometer output, fuel pump relay and special setups for racing are available using free Ignitech computer software. The ignition unit is sealed in a waterproof plastic case.

Price-range for the ignition black box varies depending on the features you require.

Each unit is backed by a two year Warranty. Pricing starts around AU$425.

The Ignitech TCIP4 module can be installed using the existing Laverda pickups on those models originally fitted with electronic ignition.

It is a sophisticated ignition control unit requiring a level of technical skill to ensure correct programming, some knowledge of ignition timing parameters and how they affect engine performance.

For models with points ignition, or replacing of existing pickups, an additional Redax custom backing plate with pickups is required.

For Series 1 1000/1200 this kit upgraded alternator system is available.
